The change in log handling has only consolidated the set of log files being written to, there are no changes to the verbosity. /var/log/syslog contains all the information that /var/log/messages used to. Furthermore, 12.04 logs the output of all upstart jobs under /var/log/upstart. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1007293 Title: nis doesn't work anymore after upgrade to 12.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rpcbind/+bug/1007293/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
