After moving from 10.04 to 12.04, my wireless card stopped working reliably. 
When generating internet traffic like watching a video on Youtube, the wireless 
connection is dropped very often.

This bug report might be a duplicate of bug #779159. 
This bug has already been tested against upstream kernel 3.6.0-999- generic 
#201210050420 on Friday October 5th 2012. The bug still exists on that upstream 
kernel.

- BIOS: up-to-date
- Wireless Access Point: SKY broadband using a SagemCom F@st 2504N, firmware 
version 5.23.1a4N
- Wireless encryption type: WPA/WPA2-PSK (mixed mode) TKIP+AES
- MAC filtering: none
- QoS/WMM: none
- Beacon interval: Not indicated, so probably default to 100
- Router internal firewall : No rules set
- Wifi connexion type: 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n (SKY uses a mixed mode by 
default)
- Only this WIFI device has a problem with the AP listed above
- The issue occurs with other APs
- It is a regression. It was working with Ubuntu 10.04.
- Compat-wireless doesn't provide a workaround or solution.
- This problems occurs in the newest mainline kernel (tested 3.6.0-999- generic 
#201210050420)
- ndiswrapper: not tested
