Public bug reported:
I put my laptop on suspend state, closed the lid and left it for around
30 minutes. When I came back and opened the lid, i saw the cpu activity
indicator blinking indicating that its resuming but I was having no
display. The display refused to come no matter what I did ( inclusive
for using ctrl+Alt+Function keys to go into terminal mode ). So I had to
force shutdown the system. This is the very first time I am facing this
problem on my laptop since Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
