Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Using hand-compiled powertop 0.17 I get much lower battery usage when I
combine g-p-m with laptop_mode.
- g-p-m on its own 25~28W
- g-p-m with laptop_mode ~18W
This is using kernel 2.6.22-7-general on a Compaq-6710b
