Thanks for the logs, looks like the problem in your case is quite different: WARNING: ifup -a is disabled in favour of NetworkManager. Set ifupdown:managed=false in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf.
Editing /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and setting managed to false should solve your problem.
