Thanks, so I tried 3.2.0.32.35 (from precise-proposed) and the mainline
linux-image-3.2.31-030231. Both seem to work fine with my audio.
Seems that it was fixed pretty quickly then!

Hi,
My audio has been working for years but as of this morning no device is found
by pulseaudio.
My instalation of Ubuntu is fresh from a month ago, straith 12.04.
