Adam, dug more into the lsb spec, and found this: http://refspecs.linuxfoundation.org/LSB_4.1.0/LSB-Core-generic/LSB-Core- generic/iniscrptfunc.html
So, in technicality, the script does as specified under that determination, making a pid file always outweight validity of any kind, so this is a debate I will need to take with the LSB group otherwise. As-is with this correction done, it fixes the main problem while staying completely in spec. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/683640 Title: status_of_proc is returning incorrect error code To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lsb/+bug/683640/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
