Public bug reported:

NOTE: This only affects the nvidia-graphics-drivers package in the
Ubuntu-X team's X Updates ppa (ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates). As such I
understand that Ubuntu does not formally support this package, but I was
informed to put up this bug report anyways.

Hardware/Software/Driver Information:

OS: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
CPU: 6.42.7 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz x86_64
Video Card: GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Driver Version: 304.51-0ubuntu1~precise~xup1
Unity Version: 5.16.0-0ubuntu1

Expected Behavior:

Upon setting Unity launcher behavior to auto-hide from the System
Settings, hovering over the left side of the screen with the mouse
should trigger the Unity launcher to reveal itself.

Actual Behavior:

Unity launcher remains hidden until Super key is pressed, regardless of
mouse position on the screen.
