I have just reproduced it by running the same applications as before: 1) firefox with 4 tabs 2) synaptic 3) running nautilus in a folder containg ~3500 photos with smallest icon size. 4) running 'eog imagefile.jpg' (image size: 4032x3024) in a console
eog opened briefly and then linux crashed. I had to powercycle the laptop and there is no information in the log files this time, but I took a photo of the crash message (attached). The first line reads: kernel BUG at /build/buildd/linux-3.2.0/drivers/gpu/drm/ttm/ttm_bo.c:1648! I have used the laptop for playing movies, but not photo-editing before now. ** Attachment added: "Oops2.JPG" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1065294/+attachment/3396467/+files/Oops2.JPG -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1065294 Title: BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 3c3bc03f To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1065294/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
