please disable your Nvidia card in BIOS, boot into Ubuntu 12.10, and execute
the following in a terminal:
apport-collect 1058269
** Tags removed: boot kernel-bug nvidia
** Tags added: needs-kernel-logs quantal
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Status: Confirmed => Incomplete
