Hi Christopher, I ran the command, but it returned a message saying that the package was not installed. (I looked and apparently this is right. I don't have the package 'libreoffice' installed, rather I have libreoffice-writer, libreoffice-calc, etc. If this means that I didn't properly file the bug, sorry!)
Also, I'm trying to make a file of the type you ask for, but I can't get it to work. The documents on which I'm experiencing the problem have been students' papers that are emailed to me as .docx files. I insert comments on them, and then resave them (in a different folder than the original, if that matters), again in .docx format. I've attached one of the papers here, but as a .docx. If you add a comment at the very end of the body text (before the works cited), and then save, the comment will not be there when you re-open the document. Interestingly, I found that if I add a comment at the end of the line that says 'Works Cited,' the comment box saves, but not the text in it. ** Attachment added: "Example" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1066405/+attachment/3397799/+files/sample%20document.docx -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066405 Title: Writer doesn't save final comment in .docx format To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1066405/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
