Hi Christopher,

I ran the command, but it returned a message saying that the package was
not installed. (I looked and apparently this is right. I don't have
the package 'libreoffice' installed, rather I have libreoffice-writer,
libreoffice-calc, etc. If this means that I didn't properly file the
bug, sorry!)

Also, I'm trying to make a file of the type you ask for, but I can't get
it to work. The documents on which I'm experiencing the problem have
been students' papers that are emailed to me as .docx files. I insert
comments on them, and then resave them (in a different folder than the
original, if that matters), again in .docx format.

I've attached one of the papers here, but as a .docx. If you add a
comment at the very end of the body text (before the works cited), and
then save, the comment will not be there when you re-open the document.
Interestingly, I found that if I add a comment at the end of the line
that says 'Works Cited,' the comment box saves, but not the text in it.
