I have a system (Latitude E6530) that came with 11.10 preinstalled. I
have since then upgraded it to 12.04. The touchpad works fine but I can
only configure it throgh an application named GlidePoint Touchpad
(glidepoint in apt), not via System Settings.

Now I am trying to make a fresh install on a new disk and have
experienced the same problem as mentioned here. I thought I would be
able to get hold of the glidepoint package from Dell but I cannot find
it. The guys at Dell seem to know about this since they can deliver a
working system.

Just thought that I should mention this as I have not found it in any
other place.

Will also try the solution in #212
