Public bug reported:

In previous releases, the desktop and menu icons were all uniform in
size regardless of the selected icon's original size.  After upgrade to
12.10, the desktop and menu icons are now native size of the selected
image.

Menu examples include:
- ClusterSSH (package clusterssh)
- Firewall Builder (package fwbuilder)
