Martin Gamwell Dawids, thank you for testing the mainline kernel. The next step would be to find the earliest mainline kernel release that fixes the problem (reverse kernel bisect). Hence, one would want to start with the midpoint between the latest kernel tested that shows the problem (~ mainline v2.6.32.59-lucid) and mainline 3.6.2. This would be http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.0.26-oneiric/ . Could you please test this and report the results?
