Public bug reported:

Updated Gutsy (As of July 2nd 2007).

Don't know where the problem comes from (GStreamer, Alsa, ... ?). In any
application (Rhythmbox, totem ...) and with any file format (ogg, mp3,
... ) with my Sound Blaster Audigy LS and logitech speakers. Sound
peaks, meaning that on loud sounds it produce a fuzzy ("Griche", what's
the English word?) sound. You know, just like when you edit a sound
track in a sound editor and try to output the sound too loud (like over
100%), it doesn't get out louder, it fuzz instead.

I always had problems with this Audigy sound card ever since I use Linux
(4 or 5 years) and with all Ubuntu Distros. It works fine, but I've
never been able to make surround work (no surround option in Alsa
mixer).

So, it's probably a problem related with my sound card.

Sorry for the poor description, my English is not perfect.
