After setting NAME in /etc/init.d/puppet, the file /etc/default/puppet is sourced, so a NAME=puppet in /etc/default/puppet could give the reported behaviour. Apart from that, I'm out of ideas. Anyhow, thanks for a very thorough report, even if the source of the bug was not found. :) -- Stig Sandbeck Mathisen -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1060184 Title: puppet client init script pid file error To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/puppet/+bug/1060184/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
