Public bug reported: I am running cscope version 15.7a on Ubuntu 12.04. When I attempt to suspend cscope with ^Z, cscope exits rather than stopping.
I compared behavior of different cscope versions on different distros and found this problem shows up if I build 15.7a on RHEL. The cscope 15.6 distributed in RHEL works properly. I also built the newest cscope 15.8 on Ubuntu 12.04. I found that 15.8 works properly. Looking at the cscope sourceforge page, I see a bug reporting ^Z failure: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3314730&group_id=4664&atid=104664 In summary, from everything I investigated, I think upgrading the Ubuntu version of cscope to 15.8 would fix the issue. ** Affects: cscope (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Script sets up cscope on a trivial program to demo ^Z issue" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067403/+attachment/3400309/+files/cscope-bug.sh -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067403 Title: cscope 15.7a exits on ^Z To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cscope/+bug/1067403/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
