Hi John. As I already mentioned profile for Pidgin was taken from bazaar.launchpad.net website (for 12.04 Release). Unfortunately, this profile seems to be a incomplete, because it does not include a number of locations, whose Pidgin needs to run properly (I know about it, because of 'aa-genprof' command etc,). In attached profile, they are added. This profile has full functionality.
'apport-collect 1066369' command seems to not work. The behavior of this command looks more or less this way: >> The authorization page: >> (https://launchpad.net/+authorize-token?oauth_token=mBz3WJfGj7XdKMsqdrZk&allow_permission=DESKTOP_INTEGRATION) >> should be opening in your browser. Use your browser to authorize >> this program to access Launchpad on your behalf. >> Press any key to continue or wait (5) seconds... >> Waiting to hear from Launchpad about your decision... After five seconds, I get an input/output error. Then, to that above message also appears; >> No protocol specified >> No protocol specified >> No protocol specified >> No protocol specified >> Error: cannot open display: :0.0 It hangs/freeze for a very long time. Only one possible way to cancel it, is to press 'ctrl +c' (lots of python messages[1], I can call it standard) or 'ctrl +z', which print; >> [1]+ Stopped sudo apport-collect 1066369 Best regards! Note: I edited this profile and pointed out with # sign, files and dirs, that do not exist in my Xubuntu 12.04 installation, but they were in profile. _________________ [1] Just for example: File "/usr/share/apport/apport-gtk", line 518, in <module> app.run_argv() File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/httplib2/__init__.py", line 76, in _ssl_wrap_socket cert_reqs=cert_reqs, ca_certs=ca_certs) KeyboardInterrupt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1066369 Title: AppArmor parser error, Warning from stdin (line 1), syntax error.
