Public bug reported:

Since two weeks I'm exsperiencing strange freezes on Feisty.

It happened even on my laptop where I've installed gusty tribe 1 (daily
upgraded).

I cannot say what triggers it: often it seems to happen coincidently
with clicking the mouse; sometime it happens when I'am away from pc and
sometimes even before I do anything.

When it freezes I cannot even switch to tty(s). A kernel regression?

(On my laptop it happened once even in gdm before entering the the user
name. I think there were some kernel updates in the last days to gusty
but I haven't used it enough in the last days to say if the problem is
still there.)

I haven't reported this before because I thought it was a minor bug, but
somehow It happens even more often then few days ago.

Please tell me what I can do help solving the problem,
many thanks,
Riccardo

Ps. At the beginning I thought it all could come from nvidia's proprietary
driver but on my laptop is running radeon's open source one.
