Public bug reported:
When my system with ATI Radeon X1800XT graphics is booted with the fglrx
driver and DRI enabled. I get a freeze at X startup. Computer becomes
unresponsive and X usage jumps to 100%. Cant switch consoles.. sshing
from remote computers is very slow. Many people are having this problem,
but no solution as yet. Have tried even with the updated fglrx packages
(8.37.6), kindly provided by Bryce Harrington.
The termination of Xorg.0.log is abrupt and ends wen the drm module is
being loaded
