Additional information: Bookmarks opened from right-hand 'Customize and control Chromium>Bookmarks>Imported from Firefox' menu crash Chromium. The same Bookmarks opened from 'Bookmarks Bar>Imported from Firefox' work properly. These are the same bookmarks from the one-and-only import Bookmarks and Settings instance.
