Public bug reported:

Sun symbol on bright rectangle-ish background that indicates screen
brightness lags behind after disconnecting adapter and running on
battery power or vice versa. The lag is really long, about half a minute
before graphics show up after pressing Fn+Brightness_Up/Down. Backlight
itself reacts always immediately.
