Thank you, I'm marking this as triaged, it will be proceeded by our motus. ** Description changed:
Ingres is a venerable DBMS which has been open-sourced under the GPL by its' parent company. Many institutions (including mine!) still use it, but Ingres themselves only supply RPMs and a tgz - a proper Ubuntu package would be handy, especially for people like me who wish to have the option of developing Ingres applications on an Ubuntu sandpit box. + + http://ingres.com/downloads.php + + The Community Products section (http://ingres.com/downloads/prod-comm- + download.php) contains the GPL version of the main DBMS, and you'll note + that there are python drivers etc. available as well + (http://ingres.com/downloads/prod-download-drivers.php) - it would be + great if these could be packaged too but they're not essential. ** Changed in: Ubuntu Status: Incomplete => Triaged -- [need-packaging] Ingres https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123619 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
