Public bug reported:

python-roman and python3-roman packages have been previously built from
the python-docutils source, now split to a separate source.

== Package description ==
Python-roman is a module for generating/analyzing Roman numerals for Python.

This module converts from and to Roman numerals. It can convert numbers
from 1 to 4999 and understands the common shortcuts (IX == 9), but not
illegal ones (MIM == 1999).

==  Availability ==
The binary packages are already available, the new source package is awaiting
upload (bug 1048259).

== Rationale ==
It's a dependency of python-docutils (>= 0.9), which is a build-dependency of
many core Python modules.

== Security ==
No known security issues. No SUID components, no daemons.

== Quality Assurance ==
There are no known bugs. Package is very small (80 lines of python code + an
.egg-info file), fully covered by the tests (DEP-8 tests are also available).

== Dependencies ==
Depends only on python{,3}.

== Standards Compliance ==
Package is lintian clean.

== Maintenance ==
Almost no maintenance is needed. Debian maintainer is Jakub Wilk, with DPMT as
uploader. Installs without debconf questions.
The Ubuntu delta is (1) using dh_python2 and (2) XS-Testsuite header in control
(to make it added to jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com).
