Thanks for filing this bug. The file which is missing is shipped by the
same packae (sendmail-base) as the file which is calling it
(/etc/resolvconf/update-libc.d/sendmail). Is it possible that you
manually removed that file?
Can you show the result of 'dpkg -l | grep sendmail' ?
If sendmail-base is installed, you can probably work around this by
doing 'sudo apt-get install --reinstall sendmail-base'.
