Public bug reported: The latest stable upstream version is 2.3.5 and contains many bugfixes since the last version that was included in Ubuntu (2.2.3).
Openwsman is important in interacting with the Lifecycle Controller on Dell's PowerEdge server lineup and is an important part of Dell's OpenManage server software. There is currently no package in Debian unstable for this. Packaging the newer version may be a bit of an undertaking because of the introduction of several programming language bindings.
