Public bug reported:
I just noticed this right now. Putting the battery on, and unplugging
the AC adapter from my Acer Travelmate 3202XCi passed unnoticed from
Feisty. As far as it's concerned, the laptop is still on AC power. The
laptop's LEDs are lit appropriately to indicate that the battery is
being charged or is charged, but then again, this is not controlled by
the operating system I guess. I found similar bugs here, and tried to
check /proc/acpi/battery/ and /proc/acpi/ac_adapter/ but, although these
exist, they are just empty folders.
Everything worked perfectly with both Dapper and Edgy (I bought the
laptop a little after Dapper's release, so these are the versions I have
used).
Let me know if I can provide any more info.
