This has been an issue for me for a long time. I get an error, after burning an .iso image, that the disc is unable to eject. If I click cancel, the burning is ruined. If I eject manually, then click cancel, all is good. I do not recall if I ran into this issue in Ubuntu 10.04, but I have run 10.10, 11.04, 11.10, 12.04, AND 12.10 and all have the problem. I run arch linux on my laptop and I have absolutely no problems with brasero. There must be something wrong on the ubuntu or debian end of brasero.
