I can confirm this bug. I have the the exact same hardware as the original poster. It happened first with wpasupplicant using 100%, but it happened again today with ifconfig using 100%. Went to tty1 and tried to kill the process and it locked up. Had to do a hard reset. Other times the machine has stopped responding completely.
