Christopher, I am going to mark this bug as invalid. After the fresh
installation of ubuntu I had so far no situation where xorg/xserver wasn't
starting up properly. If the problem reoccurs I am going to open this bug again.
Thanks for taking the time and supporting me. I just don't want to waste your
and my time any longer.
In the end I think the upgrade of the beta1 didn't run smooth – that was the
real cause of the problem.
