Public bug reported: I use LibO 3.6.2 with Swedish language pack on Kubuntu 12.10 installed through the package manager. In one dialogue window units are given in inches. In Sweden units are measured in the metric system.
1. Choose Fontwork on the drawing toolbar, draw a figure. 2. Right click on the Fontwork figure and choose border. The units in the dialogue windows are given in inches even if I have the metric system set for LibO and Writer. There does not seem to be any way to switch to the metric system, not any apparent way anyhow. The units should be set to the metric system automatically. Alternatively there must be an easy way to change the settings. In the attachment shows the dialogue with an arrow pointing to the unit given in inches. ** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Bild109.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1070018/+attachment/3409440/+files/Bild109.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1070018 Title: LibreOffice Writer: units shown in inches when they should be in the metric system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1070018/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
