Happens for me, too. Very annoying, to reproduce

1. Installal Virtualbox 4.1.23 (I've used the Intel PRO 1000 T-Server Network 
Card Emulation.
2. Install Guest Additions

put the something like the following in /etc/exports

/daten
192.168.0.0/16(ro,no_subtree_check,insecure,anonuid=506,anongid=100)

just reboot, and try to access the files inside the Virtual Machine and
you'll get a kernel panic. Most of the time this even happens a few
seconds to a minute after reboot without doing anything.
