Tim, evolution and pidgin have not yet been ported to the new messaging menu library. We're tracking the progress in bug #1040259. There's already a patch for pidgin which should be merged soon. Evolution might take a while longer, because evolution-indicator is not yet compatible with evolution 3.6.
