Daniel, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, your instructions do not work for me.
The /var/crash/ folder contains only one file that looks like the right one: /var/crash/_usr_bin_compiz.1000.crash I tried opening from Nautilus and your manual method, both with and without sudo. sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_usr_bin_compiz.1000.crash In all three cases, I get a window that prompts, "Send an error report to help fix this problem." Whether I select "Leave Closed" or "Relaunch", nothing else happens. (Of course, I do ensure that the checkbox is ticked.) What else can I do to help diagnose this? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069503 Title: Compiz crashes frequently, especially when Adobe Reader is used To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1069503/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
