Thanks Joseph for your response. I have a question first before I attempt this. Is it possible that this test could brick my laptop? This computer is used for business purposes and I can't afford for it to go down unless I can bring it back to life easily. If it does not boot after I follow the suggested steps, what steps would I perform to get it back up?
The other question I have is that I clicked on the yellow pencil, but I could not find the needs-upstream-testing tag. Is is supposed to be present now or do I have to perform the suggested steps for it to show up? Thanks for your time. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1070182 Title: Can't connect to the network through a wired connection - Network dialog shows "Wired Cable unplugged" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1070182/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
