I too have this problem, after login I see blank screen with my walpaper, ubuntu one notifications(not the icon) are also displayed, and cuttle fish loaded. When I inserted a audio CD, music player is poped up. So only thing iam missing is unity interface. My graphics card is imbeded/integrated HD 4200. Anyone has any luck with this graphics card?
