Ok. To further test if network-manager is a factor, could you please
boot into an installed version of either 12.04 or 12.10, install the
Lucid kernel found at https://launchpad.net/~canonical-kernel-
team/+archive/ppa/+build/3851599 , and comment on the issue is
reproducible?
