Public bug reported:
I'd would be great that this installer would install the patched KDE
version of Firefox and the package firefox-kde-support (previously
adding Blue Shell's PPA, of course: https://launchpad.net/~blue-
shell/+archive/firefox-kde) and create a text file in
/etc/apt/preferences.d/ with the following (to only update firefox from
the PPA):
Package: *
Pin: release o=LP-PPA-blue-shell-firefox-kde
Pin-Priority: 1000
Kubuntu is a KDE distro, so it makes sense that the users who install Firefox
want it to be compatible with KDE. With this version of Firefox is possible and
it would be easy for new users (and users that doesn't know this PPA) to have
it. For using it in KDE is far better than the standard Firefox version in the
Ubuntu repositories.
