In comments to bug 1068661 was proposed workaround which works for me. Here is what I've done: 1. Switch back to open-source driver. 2. Issued $ sudo apt-get install linux-header-generic command 3. Switched to AMD proprietary driver (fglrx-updates) 4. Rebooted.
After reboot Unity works as expected, and application which uses OpenCL correctly displays both CPU and GPU devices. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069668 Title: 1002:6758 Unity does not work with proprietary AMD video drivers Radeon HD 6670 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/1069668/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
