Public bug reported:

Hi there!

my locate database is denying me access.
When I:
sudo chmod 770 /var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db
and then reboot, I still get:

$ locate crap
locate: can not open `/var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db': Permission denied

This along with a host of other problems (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1059521).

Thanks
Brian
