boot into a Ubuntu repository kernel, and execute the following command in a
terminal, as it will automatically gather debugging information:
apport-collect BUGNUMBER
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and
the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality

As well, regarding your Bug Description:

Does this problem only occur with the upstream mainline kernel
v3.6-rc1-quantal, with the one from a Ubuntu repository, or both?
