As I also needed wxWidgets and no one wants to build it, I've now taken it onto myself and created a Launchpad repository for wxWidgets 2.9. While building wxWidgets2.9 from source locally was quite simple, building it for distribution took significantly more time and effort than I thought it would.
Anyway, it's done now. Simply add the following repository: https://launchpad.net/~shimapan/+archive/pantsu Packages are built for Quantal. If you're using an older version (e.g. Precise), you'll need to edit the repository details and replace quantal with precise (or whatever version you're using). That should work without problems on Precise - not so sure for older versions. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1062460 Title: [needs-packaging] wxwidgets2.9 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1062460/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
