Well, I do not know in what world you live. Most computers I tried DO NOT WAKE UP AFTER SUSPEND on Ubuntu, any version. It is so frequent that few people even try to install Ubuntu on a laptop - simply because on a desktop it is easier to live with that, you can just systematically turn it off. Most of us user have simply given up. This is real world.
