Upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10. Rhythmbox opens and plays but when moved to another desktop the window disappears. Task switcher fails to find it on any desktop yet it's still playing in the background. Only when I kill the process does it shut up.
I can also drag the window to the left or right boundary of another desktop, move to that desktop, pull it the rest of the way successfully. Nor does an icon show up at anytime in the upper menu bar. This is the third bug found during the "upgrade." The first, and most serious, was the LibreOffice menu bar being non-functional after detached by the upgrade. Had to uninstall libreoffice.something which allowed libreoffice to operate in native mode. Ugly but functional. This worked last night just fine in 12.04. The second serious bug was VirtualBox. XP worked fine under 12.04. No network connection under 12.10. Come on Cannonical, if you can't make shit work then don't break what does! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/988782 Title: rhythmbox disappears and can't be brought back To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/988782/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
