In your script are you just changing the unity.init name parameter? This
should have a side effect of additional youtube launcher icons. Is this
the case?
The mapping is sort of awkward. The sound menu was designed such that an
app corresponds to a .desktop file. We don't really work that way.
We're having a similar problem with multiple GMail accounts and the
messaging menu.
