Public bug reported:

I have logged in and see missing connections, but networks is
autetificated using dhcp (i can see it using ifconfig, and network
notifications appears). If i click "enable networking" to disable and
click another time to enable it all becomes ok (icon changed to
connectiong and then connected). I see this problems sometimes in 12.04
and always in 12.10. 2 sceen shots before anable/disable networking and
after
