after advice on how to do this in a much cleaner fashion (go raof). i've
tidied up the changes so it's using the cdbs patch system. (so i won't
be instantly cleaning that up and reuploading)

i've appiled the patches, but apparently it's possible to clean up the
autotool changes so that it won't be such a whale of a debdiff &
diff.gz.

i'm attaching my current version of the .diff.gz (this makes the one i
emailed to raof obsolete, it wasn't perfectly clean cause cdbs-edit-
patch trips out if there's a space in the path to the sources. notice
how the patches start in bloody, not libvisual-0.4-plugins or whatever
:P)

i'd be interested in knowning how this autotools changes cutdown is done
so i can apply it to the other package i'm also working on.
