Hi Jamie. Yes, I forgot to mention, but I also have removed these lines
from Pidgin profile, I mean;

,-------
| Name: usr.bin.pidgin
| Directory: /etc/apparmor.d/
`-------

Unfortunately, it also did not help. I noticed that some profiles (e.g.
<usr.sbin.tcpdump>) from '/etc/apparmor.d/' directory have something
like this on the top of the profile [1];

,-------
| # vim:syntax=apparmor
| # Last Modified: Wed Feb  3 07:58:30 2009
| # Author: Jamie Strandboge <[email protected]>
`-------

Is this your profile? I mean author entry. Okay, nevermind. I have also
noticed, that some profiles have a different beginning (example from
<usr.sbin.nscd> profile);

,-------
| # Copyright (C) 2002-2005 Novell/SUSE
| # Copyright (C) 2009-2010 Canonical Ltd.
| #
| # This program is free software; you can redistribute it (...)
| # and many others informations (...)
`-------

Since the profiles have different entries in the beginning, it's
probably not important what is on the top like, for example, in bash
script and "#!/bin/sh", right? So, at least it seems to me.

Best regards!

[1] I added the same entries at the beginning of the Pidgin profile after
removing those two lines; 'Name' and 'Directory'. So generally I did same thing
as You.
