Didn't get the result I expected: issued 'sudo rm bcm43xx*' in /lib/firmware/2.6.22-7-386 to remove the kernel-specific bcm43xx firmware then rebooted with the 2.6.22-7 kernel
Now bcm43xx driver is unselected in Restricted Drivers again, but my maximum speed on the gutsy kernel is still about 30 kB/s. Thus I conclude the problem is not in the firmware but rather somewhere in the kernel itself. Looks like I'll be booting the feisty kernel until someone gets this regression figured out. -- broadcom 43xx wireless regression in gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124159 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
