I did as Sam Rog told, and I used this workaround: I went to the Muon
Package Manager and installed the package kde-l10n-es. Then, in the new
windows, the messages started to appear in Spanish, I could choose
Spanish as the default package, etc.

Sam Rog said: "The installation media was the mini.iso / MinimalCD"
What mini.iso? I've looked in
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/12.10/release/ and found only big
isos. :-?
